Jess, theZo saw this post and instantly shouted how cool that toy is. so here i am asking for him, what toy is that?!?!

Well my friend, there are multiple toys at play here.

First, the toy that Mac is actually playing with is the Playskool Musical Activity Ball and Gear Center.  He’s had it pretty much his whole life, it’s regularly rotated in and out of commission, and it’s always a hit here.  It is only mildly obnoxious since you can turn off the music and the toy still works, but those gear crank sounds can still get a bit grating.

The toy next to that one, which is the one that most people ooh and aah over and has certainly been a recent fan favorite with my crowd, is the Fisher-Price World of Jungle Junction Roadway Playset.  Apparently Jungle Junction is a TV show?  I had no idea, but if Enzo likes the show, he’ll for sure love the toy.  It’s another one that’s only mildly annoying because you can turn the music off and it still works.  But honestly, I kind of like the music.  Maybe because only one part of the toy makes sound and it isn’t over-played.

The last toy is actually a hand-me-down from my cousin, but it’s the Fisher-Price Little People Animal Sounds Farm.  This one isn’t at all annoying and every child who has ever come into contact with it has been instantly entranced and played quietly with it on their own for several minutes (which is basically hours in toddler time, amiright?).  It makes little animal sounds when you move/push certain parts, but it’s easy to turn the sounds off and they honestly don’t bother me that much.  Even though this is the most expensive toy of the bunch, I highly recommend it.
